Glabrous glaucescent perennial. Flowering stem angled, sulcate, 35-60 cm. Leaves 4-pinnate, triangular-ovate in outline, c. 30 x 25 cm, glabrous; lobes linear 0,5-2 mm, obtuse, grooved. Inflorescence paniculate-thyrsoid, fruiting umbels globose, rays 7-15, unequal, 2-3 cm, arising from a swollen node; bracts lanceolate, 5-8 mm, membranous; fruiting pedicels slightly accrescent, 3-8 mm; bracteoles lanceolate, acuminate. Mericarps elliptic, c. 8 x 5 mm, truncate at the base, dorsal ridges narrowly winged, lateral wings c. 1 mm wide; dorsal vittae 12-14, commissural 6-8. Fl. 7-8. Rocky places, 1500-2600 m.
