Var hyalolepis
Similar to C. İberica, but with yellow flowers, upper leaves usually undivided, dentate, involucre slightly smaller, margin of phyllaries with broad hyaline margin on both sides, spinules at base lacking or short ; achenes 2,5-3 mm, pappus 2,5-3 mm. Fl. 5-7. Steppe, 300-370 m.
