Perennial, 30-65 cm, simple or branched, densely adpressed white woolly-tomentose, somewhat glabrescent above, eglandular. Middle cauline leaves lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, ± shortly petiolate, lamina 8-10 x 0.3-2 cm, acute, finely crenate-denticulate, internodes to 7 cm. Verticillasters 4-12, 6-flowered, 2-6 cm distant. Middle bracts orbicular to cordate, acuminate, 11.5x 0.9-1.5 cm, incl. acumen to 0.3 cm. Calyx 9-12 mm, with dense eglandular hairs, teeth triangular-lanceolate, acute, 3-4.5 mm. Corolla yellow, 13-15 mm, hairy and without brown markings inside. Fl. 7-9. Pinus nigra forest, dry slopes, 1000-1400 m
